Aisha Hinds
Aisha Hinds is an American actress who is known for playing roles in the television shows "The Shield" as well as "True Blood". Since her 2003 debut Aisha Jamila Hilds has demonstrated her acting versatility through her stellar performances in television series such as "9-1-1," "Detroit 18-7', and Under the Dome. She was in 2005's "Assault in Precinct 13" acting as Anna was the first one to grab her attention. In reality, it was her performance as women's rights advocate Fannie Lou Hamer on the biographical film "All the way" that ultimately earned her the recognition she deserves as an actress. Her portrayal of Harriet Tubman on WGN America's period drama 'Underground' was also highly-acclaimed. She currently stars on the procedural drama series '9-1-1' in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta "Hen" Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the show to air a new season. Hind has recently completed filming for the Hollywood movie "Godzilla King of the Monsters" that will release in 2019.
